Default Study into Candidate compounds for human pheromones

Here is the abstract that I found interesting as the study focuses on the sexual orientation of humans. By exploring the heterosexual, homosexual and lesbian responses to these derivatives.

Brain response to putative pheromones in lesbian women

Me personally, I look at pheromones like this. These give an edge on those valuable first impression moments, the rest is up to the person and his characteristics.

Thanks for the interesting link!

Just from reading the abstract, it would seem that gay MEN as well as straight WOMEN react the same to A1 (as known previously in the phero community), but am I correct in assuming this abstract claims that gay WOMEN react positively to EST ?

I am a straight man and I actually like A1 and have great self effects from it. Am I the exception or what?

Haha, no you're just in denial (Just kidding, obviously!)

I haven't had any depressive effects from A1 myself, but I can't say I feel any real self effects from it.

Would be interesting if EST was attractive to gay women the same way A1 can be to gay men. Seems as if different parts of the brain reacts to pheromones depending on sexual orientation, at least deducing from this particular study..
