Default Pheromones to Treat Depression

I'd like to make a mix for a depressed female in here 50s

I'm weary of using A1 because of the negative effects on males but would like to use it because it may make her feel better.

Nol seems like an obvious add in although since she's got an ability to engage in neurotic chattines already, maybe I'd have to be careful. I think I'd refrain from adding much Beta Nol ...

I've got some TAK , TAH and TAL , too.

I plan on mixing with Anise, since women have scored the good and plenty scent favorably.

A note: I don't see this as a cure all. Hopefully it will provide some comfort.

is it someone you are close to? why not use the Beta Nol yourself
when you see her and then listen for clues to find the real reason
behind her depressed state. having a friend around that will listen without passing judgement or giving directions might be all she needs?

whatever you choose i hope it works out, depression is a bitch.

I'm not going to use it on myself as I want her to have something for herself. I've done plenty of listening and know the reasons for the depression. Thanks for the EO tips. I've given her lavender and another calming one before. Right now, the only eo 's I have in large quantities are Patchouli and Anise, so I'm going with Anise. I actually meant to order Clary Sage and ordered Patchouli by accident.

Oh definitely order Clary Sage. Also, as far as EOs are concerned, ylang and something minty, like bergamot or eucalyptus, or just even spearmint have this fantastic warming effect.

If you're looking for something to cheer her up, I seriously have to shout this,

USE TAL!

Ive been out testing that molecule a whole lot, and this is what I usually tell people when I have to describe it:

"You can hit me with a baseball bat straight in the gut, and it will shatter"

I get this giant self esteem boost that is totally noticable everywhere I go. So that's a definite recommend. You don't need way too much, either. I've been doing slammin' with 10 mcg .

So you wanted to make her her own perfume, or what? Here's a good idea: if it's to treat her depression, honestly, make bath stuff. Chicks luxuriate themselves in the tub. Makes us feel a ton better. (all those movie stereotypes... they're true. At least somewhat ) Stir some EOs and pheros into a bath salt, give her a couple "servings" as a gift, and she'll be swimming in dreams for hours.

I'm putting my fist down on this one, Futurist.

Yes, m'am!

I've actually gotten her bath salt before.... Hmmm. I guess I can make TAL the lead component. The Jasmaniac rocks!

Hi Jasmin

are you at liberty to tell us what kind of hits TAL seems to give other than a giant self-esteem boost? Does it work for self-esteem for men too?

I am excited by all these new mones !

Thanks
Visionary

Hi Futurist!

I find Lavender-Vanilla to be very soothing. We like it alot. The nice thing about it is that it is available in the aromatherapy line of Bath and Body works. Ready-made lotions and potions!

But soothing does not necessarily lift depression. Any way you can get her to join you in some work-out classes? I survived divorce that way. And lost 20 lbs in the process as well! Nothing like that to boost someone's morale! Or dance classes would be even more fun!

Playing a CD with my favorite (upbeat) songs LOUD always lifts me up too. I'll find myself dancing all by myself in the house!

As far as pheromones are concerned I seem to get a definite boost from a nol /rone mix.

What has also helped me in the past is to focus on one day at a time. Make each and every day a new start and vow to make it the best day I can. I gives me a sense of satisfaction when the day is over and it helps me to put things into perspective.

There's a lot of health issues, childhood issues, lot of crap behind it. I have given her lavender a few times. I might just add some rone in there....

I have no idea what effects men would get wearing TAL . No feedback, yet! I know I've only seen a few of them go out, and of those few not many of them were to men.

In short, this is what I see from TAL (on me):

- GIANT self esteem boost
= people treat me like a princess
- a slight kind of authoritative signal

I guess I would be ROUGHLY something like Samantha in Sex in the City. Or a Cosmopolitan woman: The Fun, Fearless Female.

I've been tryign to differentiate between TAH and TAL , too. So far I think it looks like TAL "puts the foot down" and TAH is slightly more graceful? Still out to lunch on this one. I've been blogging about both of them extensively at pilot.pheromoneblogs.com

Oh, Ive also noticed that high doses of TAL (in the 25+ mcg range) make people sing songy around you. They don't necessarily talk to you, but they'll talk amongst each other in a very very 50s "Its a Wonderful Life" Jimmy Stewart way.

Menopause age, right? Did she get a hysterectomy yet?

I guess my earlier post didn't go in.

Androstadienone, TAL , TAH , Sclareol, ANOL

Bunch of pheromones that boost women's moods!

Also teach her how to take control over her own mind, and consciously disassociate painful memories (especially if she keeps remembering them automatically), and enlarge resourceful ones. Let her know that her mind is like a movie, and it's up to her to direct it.

Lighthing, music, position, it all has an enormous impact, just it does in movies. You can turn a scene happy or sad within seconds with the right lights (or lack thereof) and music. Same thing with her mind.

It's vital to teach those who are depressed to "direct their own heads". Depressed people usually feel that they have no choice, and they're out of control. That's generally not the case.

While there is often a physiological component, there's TONS that can be done with self-awareness and just putting your thoughts in a happier frame... and engaging in behaviors that happy people engage in.

Too often people are stuck in self-deprecating cycles. Model the inner and outer actions of happy, successful people can help a ton. It's a vital part of the puzzle.
