I'm a Perfumer pitching in info here. DPG -Dipropylene Glycol is used by some companies to dilute the fragrance oils and essential oils. It's not needed to make perfume and you would Never find it in any high end perfume. edpmaker

I have to say my best fragrance , which I bought on the advice of this forum, pink sugar. It looks like it should be a stocking stuffer for a 13 yr old girl...and my taste generally runs to clean fresh linen scents, or musky unisex a la Serge Luten Fumerie Turque....but no kidding, I have been told by men and women alike that they love my scent. No less than a dozen men, strangers who I happened to walk by, or be in the same room with have told me I smell beautiful. ' you smell beautiful" exact quote from all of the men. Just yesterday, my BFF was standing next to me and just looking, I asked if we were having a staring contest, and he said " no, I'm just smelling you" I. Know, sounds weird, but it was very sweet. ��

Just my two cents. DPG is not only a carrier or dilutent, it is also known for its fixative properties. It will help fragrances and essential oils last longer on the skin. PA is better-suited dilutent for perfumes intended to be sprayed on the skin whereas DPG is better for perfumes intended to be dabbed or rolled on the skin. Most commercial high-end perfumes are of the spray type, so the DPG content will be somewhat low by nature. But there is often a small fraction of it in many products, but in a much lesser proportion than PA.

I have been playing around with turning my essential oils into colognes and have found PA works great for this, but I am still trying to dial in the right PA to DPG to make them last longer. EO can be a pain because each oil is different.

I would love to see some new scent options for sure.

I haven't smelled all the scents androtics has to offer but I really like the woody types, also a tiny amount of vetiver smells really good in manly mixes as well.

I agree about the vetiver. Light fresh pipe tobacco notes, I would definitely enjoy that. Manly vanilla would be nice too (a la Eau des Baux or Tom Ford), sadly the actual vanilla option is more feminine/unisex, wearable, but still a tiny bit akward in most contexts... To consider: light cypress, tonka beans, spice. Among others.
