This is a dead serious post. I'm not looking for tasteless high-school jokes here. Jokes are a sign of embarrassment. Just be real, please.

If you have a good olfactory sense and an ability to put descriptive words to aromas, I want to hear what things you might compare the smell of a healthy vagina to. I'm a scientist and artist and am well versed in aroma nuances. See if you can you use a series of other smells (of anything from wax to cement) to describe a good vaginal smell. I hope a lot of you will take part. The purpose of this is to give you something good down the road that will turn you on. So go to it.

ADDITION BY JASMIN: Let me add the same qualifier I added to the women's version of this question.

The scent described, should not just when it's at it's healthiest, it should also be the smell of a woman's vagina when she's ovulating. (or is otherwise in the mood or "in heat")

Specifically, the scents emitted when you've responded most positively to her. The come hither and gobble me up vaginal scents. The ATTRACTIVE scents that it creates.

So not the scents that turn you off or push you away. Not necessarily the bloody aroma when a woman's menstruating or anything like that, unless that happens to be seriously attractive to you. There's no use for unattractive odors as copulins.

Can't you ask for something easier to define, like "what does Heaven smell like?"

On the L-S forum, Dr. Smellthis states that there are a lot of analog smells that mimic elements of the smell of copulins (and even cops are a fraction of what one might be sniffing from a real female), cumin having some of those characteristics.

I believe that the scent is made up of so many notes that it almost is beyond reasonable considation. After all, the factors that generate that scent in any given woman are staggering and change rapidly. A healthy vagina can be acidic on one day and sweet on another due to diet and where the woman is in her cycle.

Where does one determine the balance? Look at Jasmin's efforts to have copulins duplicated, it's stumped people who have centuries of knowledge on scents behind them.

Personally speaking, nothing beats the smell of the real thing, baby-- but I assume you know that.

Lets see first off,

Every one I have smelled is different,
Like lots of things in the human body they are greatly effected by diet, health, moon cycle, soaps used, current arousal level, etc...

I think it is funny when you smell someone and can place the scent right away, others are more like a fine wine, with a earthy undertone, and soft finish. Kind of like your sweat some days it is not a bother, other times you notice it right away.

If you smell one that is really fishy smelling, put it back it has likely gone bad.

my best guess is to go work out without putting on deodorant, then rub a rose bud under your arm pit, after you get good and sweaty, then smell the rose.

i cannot describe it as anything other than a smell a body can make. but it is distinct and recognizable ( to people who know the smell any ways).

I really had to think about this axel. It's difficult to interpret the scent, even though it's a scent that stays with you forever.

Permeates the room when excited. Pungent, musky, damp, but not foul. To me it's like a sunny, hot, sweaty day at a deserted beach. You have a few scents in the air that remind you of the freshness of the day, but at the same time, there's lots of moisture and sweat from the heat. During the day you lie on your towel and it soaks up your sweat and the sea water off your body, a little tanning oil too. Go home and throw that in an empty hamper and let it sit for a few days. Nice and tight, sealed up!

When its opened it releases a musk (dampness), not foul or bad, but lightly perfumed (tanning oil), and a small hint of salt water with maybe a bit of vinegar (sweat).

That's about the best I can think of right now. I'll keep trying
