I've never really liked how the dynamic between Pheromones and the wearer are often described, as simple and as basic as, 90% you, 10% Pheromones.

I believe, Pheromones simply add je ne sais quoi to a person. That is not to say they are not powerful. Pheromones can be EXTREMLY powerful. What I am trying to say is that, Pheromones add a (tailored) dimension to us which others feel and interpret as je ne sais quoi.


Various dictionary definitions of je ne sais quoi:

• A quality or attribute that is difficult to describe or express.
• something indescribable.
• an indefinable, elusive quality, esp. a pleasing one: She has a certain je ne sais quoi that charms everybody.
• an intangible quality that adds or makes something attractive or alluring

There is no particular reason I'm making this thread, other than last night I ended up in a conversation with an old female friend of mine. We were discussing charisma and I ended up suggesting that certain people just naturally have je ne sais quoi (don't ask me to pronounce it). I was wearing Instant Honesty, and anyway what followed was a long conversation about how she thinks I have an indescribable aura and that there’s just something about me that she can't put her finger on. That is how the effects of Pheromones are interpreted and felt on a conscious level - it has nothing to do with 90%/10%. The perception one person makes of another is non-linear, which involves many dimensions - some of which are perceived consciously, others which are perceived subconsciously - and therefore, there influence in the overall perception can not simply be measured as a percentage.
