Question Experimone Neroli scent add-on question?
Does the addition of the Neroli scent(add-on option) in the experimone line act as an extra fixative? I know all of the experimone line uses DPG as the fixative, just wondering if the neroli scented oils would help with dispersion like an extended release?

Yes, it does act as a fixative. It was designed for us by one of the leader's in fragrance technology to:

1. Gently hide the pheromonal odor, without being overt or overbearing itself
2. Diffuse pheromones (move them from your skin to the air around you) over a natural, pleasant time release curve
3. Create a more effective trail and cloud of pheromone molecules than alcohol or dpg alone -- to "envelop" people around you

I'd say it's just about essential with quickly diffusing pheromones such as TAA , and the androstenols.

Oh dammit!

I have the ones I ordered of these asked for in Unscented, however, I have a ton of EOs here - top-grade ones at that, so can I just add Neroli and musk oils myself, and if so, at what quantity, MHarris?

I will know better next time.

Is there someplace that lists some of the different options for EOs in Androtics products? i'd like to read about what kinds of options are out there for when I buy full bottles.
I tried doing a search for "chocolatini" but I couldn't find a thread that discussed the different scent mixes that Androtics can add to a bottle.

Here are the ones that I'm interested in, but I want to hear about ALL of the scents!
  • Akuto, which Jasmin highly recommended so I'm intrigued!
  • Chocolatini, which Ail and others have mentioned...Jasmin talked about it a little in her MX135 thread and it sounds fab.
  • Cookie, which I think that dolly and ilsa mentioned...anything that smells like chocolate is okay in my book!
  • Neroli (which has already been explained in this thread above)
  • Ylang-ylang (which I read about here but I don't like any ylang-ylang that I've smelled).
  • Mystery Boy Dark, which sounds fabulously rich and seductive. Im such a fan of Musc Ravageur, and that's what it sounds like. The site describes it as: "New: Are you an angel of the night? If you'd like something darker, we also have a much darker cologne full of amber and deep musks available that we can use in the place of the fresh, club scent used in Mystery Boy. You could think of it as "Mystery Boy Dark". Some say that it smells something like the nearly $200 cologne from France called "Musc Ravageur" by Maurice Roucell, but that ours is less sweet and more masculine. This new fragrance isn't well tested with this pheromone mix yet (all fragrances release pheromones at different speeds), but if the scent matches your personality better, let us know if you'd like to try that instead."
What other ones are good? I'm waiting for my first order to arrive, which are all scented by default (neroli musk) so I will be able to decide if I like that fragrance or want to try something else. Mystery Boy Dark sounds awesome, but I also might just want to stick to the Neroli and other stuff that's easier to cover with my own perfume. Thoughts?

Suggestions?

There is/was a forum freebie that included many of the scents they have available:

Forum Member Freebie Coupons 12/19/06 - 12/25/06 - HUGE Holiday Pack!

Coconut and Grapefruit are the main ones you left out on the women's side. So far my favorites are neroli and Chocolate Cookie Dessert. I don't find Coconut or Grapefruit very true to their names and they don't cover the pheros all that well, so you end up with a kind of chemical smell.

I'm guessing Mystery Boy Dark might be Akuto? Because that's pretty much how Akuto is described also.

Royal Oil is another fragrance being developed but it's intended for A314 and maybe as a standalone, all natural, very $$$, and they're waiting on better oudh before they release it.

Oooh, thank you miss Carrie! That's super-helpful. I didn't think to look there.
I am happy that I"m getting the neroli on the products that I ordered. I'm not a fan of coconut or grapefruit so I'm glad I didn't choose those. Cookie sounds awesome, as does Akuto/Mystery Boy Dark. I CAN'T WAAAIT to get my order! Sounds fabulous. And something with oud/aoud/oudh.... ooooh... I can't wait to try that one.
