Hello,

I'm Christian from sunny Ventura, CA. I'm a 26 year old male trying to get back into the dating scene. It's funny how much one forgets about dating & applies the wrong rules after being in a long term relationship for a while.

I feel like I need a boost to kickstart my interactions with women. I'm having a difficult time reading cues/body language to gauge female response to friendly, lighthearted banter. Some things are helping with confidence, including mental exercises such as reframing from neurolinguistic programming, but progress is going slowly.

Health science fascinates me, though I'll admit that the potential social effects of pheromones intrigue me even more. A friend & I tried them back in high school & had women initiate dialogue with us who had never conversed with us before. I've always wondered about their effectiveness- whether it was a placebo effect that triggered greater confidence, which itself is attractive.

I look forward to learning more about pheremones, which ones work best to help boost confidence/elicit that extra second of attention, & how to correlate this information to knowledge acquired from other fields. Thanks for letting me join this group.

Welcome to Pherotalk, Christian. I know what you mean about forgetting the rules of dating after a long-term relationship, as I'm just now getting over those problems. It's great that you take a genuine interest in pheromones and health science. If you really want to know how they work and how they can be used, you aren't afraid to push the limits on what can be done with them. That's the kind of person we need to report on this forum, though all reporting is welcome. It was most likely a combination of greater confidence from a placebo effect and the actual pheromones doing their work.

As for products, you might try Ammo to start off. Many women find it irresistible, and it draws attention to you, creating a slight sexual air. The actual pheromones, along with the aforementioned placebo affect, may also improve your self-confidence at the crucial moment. You might also try Instant Shine with the Ammo, which creates a sort of youthful, vibrant energy around you, which can be very attractive. A lot of this depends on what kind of woman you're looking for, and where you're looking. Where do you plan to use the pheros? Do you have any particular targets, or are you just looking in general?

Vespero, thank you for the quick response. Ammo & Instant Shine have now populated my list of "arms" :-) These products sound like they would be compatible with my goal. I'm trying to acquire a new circle of female friends. I'm looking for smart, thoughtful females who are pleasant conversationalists. Short cuties are a plus. I frequent coffee shops & book stores on occasion.

Do you think these products suit my efforts?

Hm. Those two should point you in the right direction, and you might also try either Instant Openness or Instant Honesty. The first contains alpha-androstenol, which tends to make people chatty, but usually this causes lots of small talk and less meaninful conversation. The second contains beta-androstenol, and will also make people talk more, but the conversation will be more personal and meaningful. It really depends on how you think you could best find the right sort of girls given the options. Properly buffered A314 could also possibly work here, though I'm rather hesitant to suggest it, as I've never used it and it can be difficut to work with. It is at once very powerful and very subtle. Someone more experienced could probably let you know about that.

I don't really know what pheromones to recommend to pick up short cuties. :-)

Profound conversation is more up my alley. A greater number of deep statements per paragraph means one high quality conversation :-) As I rethink this, I realize that I have perhaps scared women off by trying to delve too deeply into their thought lives too soon. So I wonder if this would make women more amenable to such conversation upon first encounter (prior to a phone number), or whether it would be better used on the first or second date.

Naming the active chemicals was a big help. I belong to a group that discusses testosterone related issues, & would like to study how the testosterone derivatives you mentioned might correspond to relative levels of testosterone. Men with higher testosterone tend to be more confident (all other things being equal), so perhaps they secrete more of these chemicals as well. Something worth exploring.

Yes, I much prefer the deeper coversation, but as you say, often, women are put off if you try to look closely at their thoughts too soon. You might try using the Instant Openness to get them talking at first, then switch to Instant Honesty on the first or second date and get a little more personal, or you might just try the Instant Honesty from the beginning or after a while, but without ever trying the Instant Openness.

Yes, I thought you might appreciate knowing the compound names. I know I was very glad to learn the names and more about the individual compounds when I first came to this forum. It made me feel knowledgeable and helpful towards others, as well as allowing me to better understand what was going on.

The key to becoming good at it is to not do it only when your interacting with others but to practice reading when your outside of the interaction and watching others. It can be very enlightening when your own emotions are not involved in the exchange.
