Default Any name brand cologne smell like Akuto?

I know this has likely been covered before but does anyone know of any cologne that smells anything like Akuto? I keep getting complements on it but I'm tired of telling people it is a custom scent and leaving it at that. Last time I wore something Akuto scented I got two more complements on it.

One woman was really hilarious. 'What cologne are you wearing? It smells good. I noticed it outside but didn't know for sure who was wearing it. I mean, I know it is you now. It smells really good.'

One of the colonges from Burberry smells a little like it. A co worker of mine wears it and I SWORE he had to be wearing some 314...seems I know the scent too well.

Thanks! I'll have to hit the cologne counter and get a sense of the scent.

What's wrong with saying Akuto?

This is not to try to influence you to say Akuto. Rather, if you could give a "brain dump" of what happened in your unconscious mind when I said "What's wrong with saying Akuto?", I'd appreciate it. Any fears, worries, scenes you run in your head, other words you don't want people to see if they look this stuff up, etc.

To me, the most miraculous use of these molecules is to improve daily life. To reduce loneliness, bring people closer together, increase interpersonal playfulness and add adventure back to life.

Surely we do our best not to be yet another fraud or sex company (or in what I like to refer to as "the dildo market", ha). I've worked very hard for years to inspect the actuality reality of these molecules (reality being as plain vanilla and practical as you can get), and then to figure out how the reality of these molecules can best aid humanity on both a macro and individual level. It's a very practical, non-sex fiend approach.

If there's a "dirty", "inappropriate" or "embarassing" aspect to any of this, I need to know what it is, even if it's just boils down to what pheromones tend to be sold as in the media (Oceans 13, etc)

Full honesty, even things you think might not count. Be brutal!

Thanks!

Theories are great, but even the most scientifically sound ones can influence and distort our perception of reality. Let's remain outcome neutral, and stick as closely as possible to the "Test first, describe later" principle. Honest & accurate information is the only thing that will push pheromone technology forward.

Forum "Rules": 1) The first and most important rule of this forum, is to be kind to others, unless they first insult you personally. Remember that most people are basically good and mean well. 2) Use the same "rules" you would at a party with friends. Be kind, share and keep cool. 3) Assume the best of others, and good people will usually do the same for you. 4) Since you can't see facial expressions online, read words in an upbeat voice tone, smile when you read, and laugh whenever possible. It all helps! 5) Generalizations should be seen as conversation starters, not personal insults. 6) If you're high strung, just be aggressively nice and fiercely helpful! 7) 1 to 4% of people online are the few, true trouble makers. When kindness doesn't work, report abuses and we'll educate, limit or ban the initiating party. Let's keep the forum clean of true riff raff and sociopaths.

Commercial speech limitations: 1) If you are commercially involved in any manner (directly or indirectly) with pheromone related technologies, you must make arrangements with management before participating on this site in any fashion. 2) Sites that that directly or indirectly spam or otherwise attack this site are placed on permanent public and private ban (may not be mentioned on this site ever again by anyone, for any reason), and may be subject to both federal and civil legal prosectuion. 3) All spam is legally subject to a very real fine $250K USD per infraction, legally justified by the cost of Google Adwords. 4) In short: We're often friendly and supportive, but not to the rude or the criminal!

Please read before PMing me: I am a technologist, inventor, and developer. High volume conversation on a forum of this size will often delay my core work. I do, however, read and respond to PMs once per week and welcome constructive feedback. When PMing, please tell me upfront whether you'd like a written response, and how detailed you'd prefer it. Please route all urgent questions through the public forum. For private matters, please call (800-671-6464 in North America, or +01 425-786-2001 internationally) or submit a help desk ticket. Sounds like that might've happened when we were using the organic alcohol stock, instead of perfumer stock. That made everything smell a little bit sickening, because the process the organic alcohol house was using left quite a few sweet smelling cogeners.

We now use industry standard perfumers alcohol again (and have for quite awhile now, actually). You can try it again on our dime, if you like.

PS -- I'm in no way against sex myself. Love the stuff!

What I am against is valuable, broad based technology behind lumped together with "just the next dildo". (and this is not fault of yours, I think it's mostly the media, and the way the criminal types market pheromones)

Obviously, the bulk of phero tech is social, not sexual. Often, it goes beyond even social applications, sort of into the core of our being as TAF does. Yet these areas are not directly sexual, either, and really shouldn't be anymore embarrassing than anything else that's "normal".

Much of the tech is not anymore sexual than driving a nice car or wearing good clothes, anyway. There's an attractive aspect to almost everything, sure, but it's not always a very direct path to actual sexuality, if you know what I mean. Everything we do attracts and repels certain types of people.

This is not the exclusive realm of pheromones, many of which are merely powerful messengers, or at most most, chemical facilitators of shared experience.

I can now go to any new city on earth, and make good friends in a day thanks to the tech in something like Instant Honesty . I can turn up a party by wearing Instant Honesty . I even recently learned that intelligence agents use the tech in honesty to dissolve terrorist cells. Men's work lives are changed completely by A314 . Relationships are repaired and mended, even with children.

Bottom line is, we need to find someway of separating the actual technology from the occasional ... well, what could we call it? "Hot sex" type applications? Heh

Default Re: Any name brand cologne smell like Akuto?

I just thought of something funny to illustrate attraction.

I asked myself, what's one of the most attractive features of a woman to me?

The answer, interesting enough, is:

Productivity!

Gosh, how I love a woman who can do things. Productive, often objectivist leaning or scientifically minded women get me whirring as no other kind does. The MIT pin-up calendar... phew! Too hot to talk about.

All jokes aside, this is simply a normal human trait that could not be considered sexual by most people. Take, for example, that you could NEVER ban productivity in an office, or anywhere else for that matter! Heh.

It is merely in my criteria for who is attractive to me and who is not.

Many of of the "marrying type" of men have this criteria, too. Most want a partner in life, not just a woman they use for sex 15 minutes a day, while she sits idle the rest of the time.

A314 basically projects this image for men. Stable, good men.

Productivity is not on the shelves of the local sex shop, even though it -- in some way (often in different words than I use) -- is definitely in the list of attractive features of many people.

It is attractive, and can lead to coitus or even long term "romantic union", despite the fact that productivity itself is completely normal, as normal as anything else could ever be. It's the same sort of core thing you'd want in an office printer, I suppose. It's that normal.

So why then should A314 sit exclusively next to the dildos or harnesses at a sex shop?

Why can't you use it, and if someone found out you used it, why couldn't be viewed as a person into self-improvement, a good person who wants to be even better?

There's nothing wrong, dirty or sinister about self-improvement. It is the opposite of rude. (gosh, didn't Richard Branson have to say almost exactly that while initially defending the brand name "Virgin" to the British government?)

Could it be the word "pheromone" itself and it's classical associations, created by both marketing and movies since the early 80s?
